Sometimes a project comes along the really peaks my interest, so i have dedicated this section to all of my favourite and most noteworthy projects.
Dredge Crane Project
This project was interesting, we were tasked with the design and fabrication of an A frame style crane that would be used to lift a dredging plough into the sea. It was fabricated from plate ranging in thickness including 25mm, 30mm and 50mm. All plates were hand cut in house. It is currently being used off the coast of Ireland.
Dredging Plough
We built this dredging plough for a local company who were in need of a bespoke tool. This was designed and fabricated in house. Weighing in at an impressive 9.5t it was an exiting project. The pictures below show it being deployed for the first time. It has now moved thousands of cubic metres of sand around the sea floor.
